Indian embassy opens help desk number

Following the tragic fire incident involving Indian workers at the labor camp in Mangaf, the Indian embassy in Kuwait has activated an emergency helpline number, +965-65505246.

The embassy has advised all those affected by this tragic incident to contact this helpline for any updates.

The building where the tragedy struck, home to 196 laborers and many Malayalis, is owned by the NBTC group under Malayali businessman KG Abraham. While the fire has been contained, several people are still trapped inside.
