Indian Embassy hosts FID’s 11th Inter School Health Quiz; FAIPS-DPS crowned champions

Ambassador Tripathi highlighted the importance of health literacy among youth and applauded the forum’s continued dedication to nurturing future healthcare leaders.

The Forum of Indian Doctors (FID) concluded the 11th edition of its prestigious Inter School Health Quiz 2025 at the Indian Embassy Auditorium, marking another milestone in its decade-long mission to promote health awareness among students in Kuwait.

Held under the leadership of FID President Dr. Sameer Humad, the event saw the enthusiastic participation from 18 schools across Kuwait, drawing an impressive audience of students, parents, teachers, and distinguished guests.

The ceremony was graced by Her Excellency Paramita Tripathi, Ambassador of India to Kuwait, who attended as the Chief Guest. In her address, Ambassador Tripathi commended the FID for its valuable contribution to the community through impactful educational initiatives.

She highlighted the importance of health literacy among youth and applauded the forum’s continued dedication to nurturing future healthcare leaders.

The competition began with a rigorous preliminary round featuring all participating schools, assessing students’ knowledge across various domains of health and medicine. While scores were being compiled, the audience took part in an interactive session featuring questions from the preliminary round, adding to the excitement and engagement.

The quiz was conducted by Dr. Imtiyaz Nawaz and Dr. Ananta Priya, supported by the quiz team including Dr. Umar, Dr. Soumya Shetty, Dr. Ali Asgar, Dr. Neha, and other office bearers and volunteers. Their efficient coordination and enthusiasm ensured a seamless and captivating event.

Six schools advanced to the final round, showcasing exceptional knowledge and quick thinking. After a closely contested finale, Fahaheel Al-Watanieh Indian Private School (FAIPS-DPS) emerged champions. The winning team received trophies and certificates in recognition of their outstanding performance from Ambassador Tripathi.

FID also used the occasion to honor academic excellence by felicitating high achieving students from Grade 10 and Grade 12 board examinations (2024–2025), acknowledging their dedication and hard work with certificates and awards presented by Ambassador Tripathi.

The event received widespread appreciation from parents, educators, and students, many of whom praised FID for consistently organizing high quality educational programs. The overwhelming participation reflected the community’s strong support for initiatives fostering health awareness and academic excellence among youth.

Expressing his gratitude, Dr. Humad remarked, “The success of our 11th Inter-School Health Quiz reflects our community’s commitment to educating and empowering the next generation. We are proud to uphold this tradition and look forward to many more successful editions in the years ahead.”

The Forum of Indian Doctors continues to play a vital role in promoting health education and community welfare in Kuwait, with the annual Inter-School Health Quiz remaining one of its signature programs.
