
The Canadian College of Kuwait (CCK) hosted H.E. Mrs. Paramita Tripathi, Ambassador of India to Kuwait, as Chief Guest for the official inauguration of the Indian Book Corner, a cultural and academic initiative designed to promote literary, educational, and cross-cultural learning.
The Indian envoy praised CCK for fostering multicultural education and strengthening India–Kuwait academic relations through meaningful initiatives that prepare students for global engagement.

During the event, the Her Excellency announced a new educational initiative that will invite students in Kuwait to visit the Indian Embassy as part of a structured civic and cultural engagement program.
The initiative will begin with students from the Canadian College of Kuwait, offering firsthand insight into diplomacy, governance, and international relations.

The event also featured a senior delegation from Vellore Institute of Technology, including Dr. Seenivasan, Director – International Relations, and Dr. Raghuram, Assistant Director – International Relations.
During the ceremony, the official MoU between CCK and Vellore Institute of Technology was formally handed over to Her Excellency the Ambassador, symbolizing the strengthening of bilateral academic collaboration in student exchange, joint programs, innovation, and research cooperation.

In his statement, Othman Ayman Boodai, Chairman of the Canadian College of Kuwait, stated, “Think Global, Study Local is not a slogan for us — it is a system of preparing students in Kuwait for a world that rewards global thinking.”
The event concluded with a shared resolve to build a future defined by global collaboration, academic innovation, and transformative opportunities for students.

Through this initiative, the Canadian College of Kuwait continues to strengthen its position as a globally connected institution offering world-class education from within Kuwait.
