India, the flourishing nation

Imagine, if you will, over 1.2 billion people. Each one of them speaks a different language, wears a different style of clothing, and, in a world, is just about as different from each other as it is possible to be. Now imagine being told to live together.
What would you expect? Chaos, squabbles, and so on. But imagine these extremely dissimilar people, all having different styles of living, being united within a single nation, unfurling a flag which spreads the saffron, white and green across the sky, just as the spectrum of seven colors combine to form white light.
And what do you have now? You have INDIA. India is like a gem, forged in the heat of cruelty and repression, and just like a precious stone, has survived the heat to become something incredible.
Unlike a gem, India is forever flourishing and growing. Advancements in science and technology, trade, sports and space travel are just a few of India’s countless achievements.
Like a tree, India continues to reach its roots deeper, becoming grounded in love and unity, as well as spread its branches higher and wider, aiming for excellence. It is therefore our duty as Indian citizens to continue the race, passing down the baton from one generation to the next, keeping India as a beacon of light for the rest of the world.
