IMA-YouthWing launches ‘Save Water, Energy Today for a Better Tomorrow’ campaign

The campaign includes impactful programs and activities promoting awareness and action, emphasizing each individual’s ethical and spiritual responsibility in conserving resources.

IMA-YouthWing invites all to join the Save Water, Energy Today for a Better Tomorrow campaign, launching at Masjid-e-Abu Rafe, Jaleeb Al Shuwaikh, Kuwait, to make a difference in conserving resources for future generations.

IMA-YouthWing announces the launch of its campaign Save Water, Energy Today for a Better Tomorrow,starting July 19, at Masjid-e-Abu Rafe, Jaleeb Al Shuwaikh, Kuwait, from 1 PM onward.

The campaign centres on the themes “Eat & Drink, but do not waste” (Quran 7:31) and “You will be accountable for all the bounties you enjoyed” (Quran 102:08) emphasized the ethical and spiritual responsibility of every individual towards conserving resources.

The campaign features a series of impactful programs and activities aimed at fostering awareness and practical action:

  •  Filter cleaning/changing: Volunteers will address the need for clean water by cleaning and changing filters in public areas, ensuring the community has access to safe drinking water.
  • Stickers pasting: Awareness stickers will be placed in prominent public locations to remind and encourage individuals to conserve water and energy.
  • Awareness sessions: Educational sessions will be conducted at public areas, camps, and beaches, focusing on the importance of conserving water and energy and the practical steps individuals can take.
  • Twitter campaign: A social media initiative will be launched to engage the broader community in discussions about conservation and sustainability, leveraging the power of Twitter to spread the message.
  • Reel competition: A creative competition inviting participants to produce short reels that highlight water and energy conservation. The best entries will receive recognition and prizes.
  • Flyers sharing: Informative flyers will be shared throughout the campaign, providing tips and guidelines on how to save water and energy effectively.
  • Short videos sharing: Engaging short videos will be shared across social media platforms to raise awareness and encourage community involvement in conservation efforts.

The campaign will conclude with a special program on August 16, where the achievements and impacts of the campaign will be reviewed, and future initiatives will be presented.

IMA-YouthWing invites everyone to join this important cause and help make a difference in preserving our precious resources for future generations.

Guests from the Ministry of Awqaf, Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy, and Arab delegates will grace the campaign launching event.
