In a sweeping field campaign, security forces in cooperation with the Kuwait Municipality, the Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy, and the Public Authority for Housing Welfare, launched a major operation in the Taima and Sulaibiya to remove encroachments on state property.
The operation resulted in the demolition of numerous illegal structures and the arrest of several violators of different nationalities found running unauthorized commercial activities on state-owned land, reports Al-Rai daily.
The authorities also issued final warnings to violating homes, setting a strict deadline of September 15, 2025, for the removal of all encroachments. Those failing to comply will face full force of the law for breaching usufruct agreements.
