Illegal goods supplier arrested, construction theft gang dismantled in Al-Mutlaa

As part of ongoing efforts by the criminal security sector to combat crime and apprehend violators, the General Directorate of Criminal Investigations successfully arrested several individuals during intensive campaigns conducted across the Al-Farwaniya and Jahra governorates.

The Investigation Department of Al-Farwaniya Governorate (Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh Detectives) arrested an Asian national for illegally selling subsidized supplies and operating an unlicensed grocery store in the Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh area. Authorities also found sums of money in his possession, believed to be proceeds from illegal sales.

The Jahra Governorate Investigations Department (Al-Mutlaa Investigations) successfully dismantled a criminal group specializing in the theft of construction materials from houses under construction in the Mutlaa area.

Moreover, following intensive search and investigation efforts, it was discovered that the suspects rented vehicles to monitor residential plots before stealing construction materials, which they later sold and divided the proceeds among themselves.

All the accused, along with the seized items, were referred to the competent authorities for necessary legal action. The Ministry of Interior reaffirms its commitment to monitoring and apprehending anyone who threatens security or encroaches on public and private property. It also emphasized that it will not hesitate to enforce the law strictly against violators.
