‘Igniting minds, inspiring excellence’: Aspire IGCSE leaders take the oath

The Investiture Ceremony 2025–26 of the Cambridge IGCSE section at Aspire Indian International School was held on November 10, 2025.
The event marked a significant milestone as the third Investiture Ceremony celebrating leadership, responsibility and the spirit of service among students.
The ceremony commenced with a welcome address by the IGCSE Coordinator, Babu C. Jose followed by a Quran recitation by Ahmed Mohammed (9B).

The Salutation and Kuwait National Anthem were rendered by the school choir setting a tone of reverence and unity. A school prayer song followed uplifting the atmosphere with serenity and gratitude.
The guests including Ms. Stephanie Mathew, Head Sustainability and Strategic growth. P Sundaram, Toby Mathew, Ms. Shereen, Ms. Sanober, and Dr. Geetika Ahuja, Principal, graced the occasion, emphasizing the essence of leadership and integrity.

The program continued with a Welcome Dance and gymnastics and aerobics performance showcasing students’ creativity and discipline.
The highlight of the day was the Induction of the Student Council, led by Head Boy Karim Samiev (9A) and Head Girl Lara Salama Mohamed (9B), along with House Captains, Sports Captains, Art Secretaries, Prefects and the Student Editor.
The Badge Pinning and Flag Handing Ceremony was conducted by the guests, symbolized trust, commitment and responsibility.
The newly-appointed leaders took a solemn Oath administered by Dr. Ahuja pledging to uphold the school’s motto, “Igniting Minds, Inspiring Excellence.” The ceremony also featured speeches by the Vice Principal, Head Boy, and Head Girl, followed by a Vote of Thanks by Mostafa, HOD of Arabic and Islamic sections. The event concluded with a delightful Thank You Dance celebrating gratitude and unity.
