ICAI Kuwait Chapter kicks off first-ever Gully Cricket Tournament

The ICAI Kuwait Chapter hosted its inaugural Gully Cricket Tournament 2025, uniting Indian chartered accountants for an exciting showcase of sportsmanship and camaraderie. With its relaxed rules, gully cricket welcomed players of all skill levels while preserving the game’s competitive edge.
The tournament was inaugurated by ICAI Kuwait Chapter Chairperson CA Aditya Dhanuka, who welcomed the participants and emphasized the importance of team-building through sports.

Champions: ICAI KC Team E (Captain: CA Murtaza Partapurwala)
Top performers of the tournament:
Top all-rounder was CA Irshad V (Team C) with 297 points, while best batsman was CA Umesh Soni (Team E), who scored 99 runs. Best bowler was CA Rajendra Prasad (KCD) with four wickets, and man of the match (finals) was CA Umesh Soni, who scored 55 runs off 20 balls.
