ICAI Kuwait Chapter hosts webinar on candlestick analysis, smarter investing
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, Kuwait Chapter (ICAIKC), hosted an insightful webinar titled “Candlestick Decoded – Reading & Understanding Candles for Smarter Stock Market Investing” on Friday, July 31, 2026, featuring investment advisor and market analyst Nagarajan M.
The webinar drew enthusiastic participation from ICAI members and finance professionals across Kuwait, reflecting growing interest in technical analysis and informed investment strategies.
The session was moderated by CA Sonia Enamakel, who welcomed participants and introduced the programme. CA Venkata Badida, Chairperson of ICAIKC, delivered the welcome address, highlighting the importance of understanding market behavior, price movements and technical analysis in making informed investment decisions.
During the session, Nagarajan M provided participants with practical insights into candlestick charts and explained how individual candle formations and chart patterns can reflect market psychology and price action.
Using real-world market examples, he demonstrated how investors can identify bullish and bearish patterns, recognize potential trend reversals and continuation signals, and apply technical analysis to make more disciplined investment decisions.
An interactive Q&A session, led by CA Joseph Peter, allowed participants to seek clarification on candlestick interpretation, trading strategies, risk management and the practical application of technical analysis under different market conditions.
