Ibrahim Al-Hajri Street in Jabriya to remain closed from July 12 to 28
The General Traffic Department announced that Ibrahim Al-Hajri Street in Jabriya will be temporarily closed for road maintenance starting Saturday, July 12, 2025, and continuing until Monday, July 28, 2025.
The authorities have called on all motorists to comply with traffic signs and police directions throughout the closure period.
The department stressed the importance of using alternative routes to maintain smooth traffic flow and public safety, reports Al-Jarida daily.
To facilitate movement in and out of Jabriya during the closure, the following alternate access routes have been recommended the use the Ibrahim Marafi Street entrance coming from the Fourth Ring Road — enter Jabriya via Rashid Bursali Street if coming from Fahaheel Road; access Jabriya through the Al Hadi Hospital roundabout.
The Traffic Department assured that the maintenance works are necessary to ensure long-term improvements to road quality and to enhance the overall infrastructure performance in the Jabriya area.
