Housing Minister orders increased monitoring, removal of violations in Sulaibiya

The Minister of State for Municipal Affairs and Minister of State for Housing Affairs, Abdullatif Al-Mishari, directed an increase in the number of teams deployed in the Sulaibiya area to enhance monitoring and remove violations. This decision was announced during his inspection tour of the area, where he was accompanied by Sheikha Bibi Al-Yousef Al-Sabah, head of the Women’s Housing Affairs Team, along with senior officials from the Public Authority for Housing Welfare and representatives from the Ministry of Interior.

In a press release, the Housing Authority stated that during his tour of the Sulaibiya area, the Minister of Housing, Al-Mishari ordered to increase number of teams assigned to monitor violations and report them. This step aims to ensure that the necessary measures are taken to address and remove these violations effectively.

During the tour, Minister Al-Mishari and Sheikha Bibi Al-Yousef Al-Sabah were briefed on the scale of violations and encroachments in the Sulaibiya area. They also listened to feedback from residents benefiting from housing care. In response, the Minister issued directives to identify and implement appropriate solutions.

Moreover, residents of the Sulaibiya area were urged who were benefiting from rental housing, to cooperate with field teams and comply with directives by removing all violations, encroachments, and transgressions on state property.
