‘Housing Minister’ directs payment disbursement for citizens with revoked wives’ nationalities

The Minister of State for Municipal Affairs and Minister of State for Housing Affairs, Abdul Latif Al-Mishari, has instructed the Director General of the Kuwait Credit Bank and the Director General of the Public Authority for Housing Welfare, to expedite the disbursement of financial payments for individuals who have a wife whose nationality has been withdrawn, as per Article (8) of the Kuwaiti Nationality Law.

The Foundation, through its official account on the “X” platform today, Monday, stated that the directives from Minister Abdul Latif Al-Mishari are part of a commitment to ensuring that women who have had their nationalities withdrawn receive their rightful entitlements. These actions are aimed at preserving the stability of the Kuwaiti family and supporting the provision of housing care, in accordance with the law regulating these matters.
