“Housing Authority” coordinates with State agencies for alternatives to citizens
The Public Authority for Housing Welfare confirmed that it is in continuous coordination with relevant state agencies to provide decent housing alternatives for citizens.
Regarding what is being circulated about allocating 7 new sites for housing care, the Authority stated in a press release that it has requested an opinion from the Kuwait Municipality on allocating these sites to the Authority for future housing projects.
However, to date, none of them have been allocated or received due to current obstacles in these sites that may prevent their use. Solutions and alternatives are currently being discussed with the Kuwait Municipality and other relevant agencies.
The Authority added that the procedures for requesting the provision of land for housing care, are a routine process and are not binding for allocation. Any new sites that are allocated and delivered to the Authority will be announced through official channels.
