Hotter days and warmer nights this weekend

The Meteorological Department predicted that the country’s weather on the weekend would be hot during the day and warm to moderate at night with chances of light fog formation over some areas.

Abdulaziz Al-Qarawi, Director Meteorological Department, told the Kuwait News Agency “KUNA” that the country is affected by a weak extension of atmospheric depression accompanied by a relatively hot and humid air mass with winds mostly southeastern to volatile direction light to moderate speed with opportunities to form light fog in some areas in the evening, and the early hours of the morning.

Furthermore, Al-Qarawi added that the weather on Thursday is relatively hot and humid on the coastal areas and the winds fluctuating towards the southeast, light to moderate with speed between 8 and 30 kilometers per hour and some scattered clouds appear.

Due to this the expected maximum temperatures are between 38 and 40 degrees Celsius, and the sea has light to moderate waves between 1 and 4 feet.

He stated that the weather tonight is inclined to heat to mild and humid, especially on coastal areas and southeastern winds to volatile, light to moderate speed between 8 and 32 kilometers per hour.

Moreover, there is a possibility of light fog in some areas and some scattered clouds will appear while the expected minimum temperature is between 22 and 25 degrees Celsius and the sea has light to moderate waves between 1 and 3 feet.

Al-Qarawi explained that the weather tomorrow, Friday during the day will be relatively hot and humid, especially on the coastal areas and the winds south to the southeast, light to moderate speed, sometimes activating between 12 and 40 kilometers per hour and some scattered clouds will appear, while the expected maximum temperatures will be between 39 and 41 degrees Celsius, and the sea will have light to moderate waves between 2 and 5 feet.

He pointed out that the weather tomorrow night is inclined to heat to mild and humid, especially in coastal areas and southeastern winds to volatile direction, light to moderate speed, sometimes active on coastal areas between 8 and 40 kilometers per hour, with chances of light fog in some areas and some scattered clouds will appear.

This indicates that the minimum expected temperature will be between 23 and 26 degrees Celsius, and the sea will be light to moderate, sometimes having high waves ranging between 2 and 6 feet.

Regarding the weather during the day after tomorrow, Saturday, Al-Qarawi said that it will be hot and the winds from southwest to southeast will be light to moderate having speed between 8 and 38 kilometers per hour and some scattered clouds will appear, while the expected maximum temperatures will range between 39 and 41 degrees Celsius, and the sea will have light to moderate waves ranging between 2 and 5 feet.

Wrapping up the weather predictions for this weekend, Abdulaziz Al-Qarawi, Director Meteorological Department, specifically pointed out that the weather on Saturday night will be hot to moderate and humid in coastal areas and southeastern winds will be volatile, as the trend will be light to moderate with speeds between 8 and 32 kilometers per hour. There will be chances of light fog in some areas, while the expected minimum temperature will range between 23 and 26 degrees Celsius, and the sea will have light to moderate waves between 1 and 4 feet.
