Hot weather forecast with highs of 48 degrees

The Meteorology Department has issued a forecast predicting scorching temperatures for today, Wednesday. Residents can expect extremely hot conditions throughout the day.

Al-Qabas newspaper reports daytime temperatures are expected to soar up to 48 degrees Celsius. Northwesterly winds are anticipated to blow at speeds ranging from 12 to 35 kilometers per hour (7.5 to 21.7 miles per hour).

Even during the nighttime hours, temperatures will remain uncomfortably warm. Lows are expected to hover around 34 degrees Celsius.

Winds are forecast to continue blowing lightly to moderately from the northwest. These winds will be particularly noticeable along coastal areas, with speeds ranging from 10 to 40 kilometers per hour.
