Health Ministry refers 34 private healthcare facilities for medical violations

The Minister of Health, Dr. Ahmed Al-Awadhi, referred 34 private healthcare facilities to the Medical Liability Authority for severe violations of medical advertising regulations.

The Ministry in a press statement mentioned that these violations, which go against Ministerial Resolution No. (87) of 2023, breach medical ethics and principles. Inspection teams found advertisements with inaccurate information, inappropriate images, and violations of public taste.

Furthermore, the Ministry added that the violations involved clinics, medical centers, laboratories, and dental centers, all of which failed to uphold their professional and ethical responsibilities, leading to legal action against them.
