Health Ministry expands dental services with on-call clinics during holidays

The Assistant Undersecretary for Dental Affairs at the Ministry of Health, Dr. Ahmed Asad, announced the inclusion of several dental clinics in new health centers as on-call centers during official holidays and vacations. This initiative aims to improve the quality of primary care and ensure continuous service year-round.

In a press statement on Thursday, 27th March, Dr. Ahmed Asad highlighted that this initiative is part of the Ministry of Health’s efforts to enhance preparedness and expand dental services, aiming to reduce pressure on other facilities and better serve citizens during peak times.

Dr. Asad explained that dental clinics have been added to five health centers, including Sabah Al Nasser, Andalus, South Ardiya, South Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh, and Al Rabia Health Centers, to ensure on-call services during official holidays and vacations.

Furthermore, Dr. Asad explained that a comprehensive expansion plan is underway, set to launch after Ramadan, which includes opening additional clinics and centers and improving service efficiency. This is part of the ministry’s strategy to bring high-quality care closer to beneficiaries year-round.

Dr. Assad affirmed his commitment to advancing healthcare infrastructure, enhancing patient experiences, and expanding services across regions, aligning with citizens’ aspirations for integrated and sustainable healthcare.
