Gulf Weeks launch tomorrow ahead of the 45th Summit
The Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, Jassim Al-Budaiwi, announced today, Thursday, that the launch of Gulf Weeks in Kuwait tomorrow, Friday, coincides with the 45th Gulf Summit, scheduled for December 1.
In a press statement, the Secretary-General of the Cooperation Council, Al-Budaiwi, expressed his deepest gratitude and appreciation to His Highness the Amir, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, for the significant and unwavering support he provides to the progress of the Cooperation Council in various fields.
Al-Budaiwi stated that several events will be held in this context, including a photo exhibition showcasing Gulf summits from the past four decades, as well as events focusing on politics, economics, security, military, culture, entrepreneurship, and achievements in supporting and empowering women and youth.
Furthermore, Al-Budaiwi explained that these activities aim to familiarize citizens and residents of Kuwait with the achievements of the GCC and to strengthen the spirit of Gulf solidarity.
Al-Budaiwi stated that these events will take place at various locations in Kuwait from November 22 to 29. He encouraged citizens and residents to participate and attend, to closely witness the progress of joint Gulf action and its valuable achievements.
On a thankful note, Al-Budaiwi expressed his gratitude to Kuwait’s Minister of Information and Culture, Abdul Rahman Al-Mutairi, and the Ministry’s employees for their unwavering support and efforts in preparing, organizing, and implementing the events within the Gulf Weeks plan, in coordination with the relevant authorities in the country.
