‘Gulf Diwan’ cultural center to open in Kuwait during Gulf Cup

The center, opening from December 20 to January 2, aims to enhance the Gulf Cup experience by fostering an intellectual and cultural environment that promotes unity and cooperation among Gulf countries.

The ‘Gulf Diwan’ cultural center aims to foster cultural exchange, showcase Gulf heritage through seminars and exhibitions, and promote regional integration through long-term partnerships.

The center provides an exceptional experience, allowing participants to explore Gulf heritage, encouraging youth involvement in cultural activities, and offering opportunities to learn from experts to develop their skills.

 

Under the patronage of Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi, Minister of Information and Culture and Minister of State for Youth Affairs, the Gulf Diwan cultural and educational center will open from December 20 to January 2, coinciding with the 26th Gulf Cup in Kuwait.

Organized in collaboration with the Youth Public Authority and the Public Authority for Sport, the ‘Gulf Diwan aims to enhance the Gulf Cup experience by fostering an intellectual and cultural environment that promotes unity and cooperation among Gulf countries, according to Al Anba newspaper.

The center, located at the College of Basic Education – Girls Stadium near Jaber Stadium, aims to create an environment for communication and cultural exchange, serving as a platform and link between the Gulf countries and the world. It highlights the cultural and artistic heritage of the Gulf through seminars, exhibitions, and performances that promote Gulf identity, while establishing long-term partnerships between artists and thinkers to enhance regional integration.

The center also provides an exceptional experience, allowing participants to explore Gulf heritage, encouraging youth involvement in cultural activities, and offering opportunities to learn from experts to develop their skills.

The ‘Gulf Diwan will feature a variety of activities in cooperation with the Youth Public Authority and the Public Authority for Sports, including cultural performances, sports activities, youth engagement programs, diplomatic receptions, art and photography exhibitions, workshops and training sessions, panel discussions, cultural film screenings, and roundtable discussions.
