GTD announces road closure

The General Traffic Department has announced the closure of the expressway and central lanes on Damascus Street, from the Fourth Ring Road intersection to Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan Road (Fifth Ring Road).

This closure began Wednesday and will continue until August 20, 2025, reports Al-Anba daily.

Additionally, part of Arabian Gulf Street—from the Kuwaiti National Assembly intersection to the Seif Palace Roundabout — will have its left and central lanes closed until road maintenance work is completed on September 1, 2025.\
