Governors inspect Sabah Al-Ahmad Coast Guard Base, stress security partnership

The governors of Kuwait’s provinces conducted a field visit to the Sabah Al-Ahmad Coast Guard Base to review the services provided by the Directorate-General of Coast Guard to government and private entities, as well as its community services and role in strengthening the maritime security system.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, the Ministry of Interior said that the Director-General of the Directorate-General of Coast Guard, Brigadier General Sheikh Mubarak Ali Yousef Al-Sabah, received the Governor of Farwaniya, Sheikh Athbi Nasser Al-Athbi Al-Sabah; the Governor of the Capital, Sheikh Abdullah Salem Al-Ali Al-Sabah; the Governor of Ahmadi, Sheikh Hamoud Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah; the Governor of Mubarak Al-Kabeer; the Acting Governor of Hawalli, Sheikh Sabah Bader Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah; and the Director General of the Directorate General of Governorate Affairs, Sheikh Nasser Mohammed Al-Jarrah Al-Sabah, upon their arrival at the base, reports Al-Rai daily.
Brigadier General Sheikh Mubarak Al-Sabah stated that the visit comes within the framework of strengthening institutional partnership and joint coordination, and acquainting the governors with the efforts exerted by the Coast Guard and its vital role in supporting the national security system and protecting Kuwait’s maritime borders.
