Governorate Council staff registered for recruitment

Sources added that salaries will be paid to the employees by the Civil Service Commission until they are placed in the areas to which they are transferred.

  • The ranking of registered job seekers will change after the employees of the Council of Governorate Affairs and the General Secretariat of the Council are registered in the central employment register

The employees of the Council of Governorate Affairs and the General Secretariat of the Council were entered into the Central Employment Register at the Civil Service Commission from the first to the 18th of this month.

Sources revealed to Al-Anbaa newspaper that the transfer of registrants to ministries, institutions, and government agencies will be done ‘automatically’ according to the five choices that were recorded by them in the registration application, in implementation of Decree No. 24 of 2024, which amends some provisions of Decree No. 81 of 2014 regarding the system of Governorates and abolishes the Supreme Council for Governorate Affairs.

Sources added that salaries will be paid to them by the Civil Service Commission until they are placed in the areas to which they are transferred, ‘but they have not yet been subject to the attendance and departure fingerprint system in force in the bureau.’

Additionally, sources pointed out that the ranking of registered job seekers will change after the employees of the Council of Governorate Affairs and the General Secretariat of the Council are registered in the central employment register, and the revised ranking number will be available on the office’s website.

In response to a question about the timing and mechanism of nomination, the sources replied, “the decision is pending because there are two mechanisms. The first mechanism is currently in effect at the bureau and involves nominations after the bureau receives job requirements from government agencies, which were already received during the past month.

The second new mechanism is outlined in Circular No. 4 of 2024, stating that after the bureau receives and reviews the needs, it will present them to the Civil Service Council for approval for each government agency based on what the Council deems appropriate in light of the opinion of the Technical Bureau. Once the Council approves the requirements, they are automatically entered into the integrated systems, and then filtration takes place.”
