Government unveils bold plan to fast-track projects

The ministers began their work on Thursday and held meetings with state authorities’ leaders. During the meetings held in the first shift of the new government, the ministers stressed the development of all sectors, modernizing the service system, overcoming routine, eliminating the documentary cycle, and completing the digital transformation.
Filling the vacancies
Government sources informed Al-Qabas that the priority is to fill more than 510 vacant leadership positions in state agencies and set a timetable for completing outstanding files.
The sources pointed out that starting next week, the inventory of vacant leadership positions in all state parties will begin, and names will be nominated to fill them from among competent experts, following regulations and procedures organized by ministries and entities.
The sources pointed out that the leaders were instructed to go down to the business fields, ensure completion, submit periodic reports of achievements, and develop a plan to avoid delays and address any negatives or obstacles that could disrupt operations.
Hard work to achieve tangible achievements
The sources revealed the issuance of higher instructions that this stage is dedicated to hard work to achieve tangible achievements on the ground, implement long-awaited development projects, and accelerate stalled work.
According to the sources, the ministers emphasized the completion of digital transformation, the mechanization of services, comprehensive development in the service and productive sectors, the infusion of new talent into state authorities, holding accountable those who fail to perform their duties, as well as promoting transparency, listening to citizens’ demands and complaints, and addressing administrative imbalances in some sectors.
Developing the education system
Dr. Adel Al-Adwani, Minister of Education, Higher Education, and Scientific Research, received updates on the progress of education departments; focusing particularly on the final period tests conducted by the Ministry of Education.
Sources indicated that Al-Adwani directed the leaders of the Ministries of Education and Higher Education to prioritize the stage of developing the education system. The educational authorities are preparing to implement a comprehensive vision aimed at achieving quality and excellence in the educational system.

Dr. Amthal Al-Huwailah, the Minister of Social Affairs, Labor, Family Affairs, Childhood, and Minister of State for Youth Affairs, instructed the ministry to update the service system, enhance work mechanisms across all sectors, and deliver optimal services to citizens. This initiative aims to translate high-level directives into tangible benefits for Kuwait and its people.
During a tour with sector leaders, the minister reviewed work progress and emphasized the importance of implementing political leadership directives to achieve tangible results on the ground.
Supporting outstanding national competencies
Dr. Mohammad Abdulaziz Bushehri, Minister of Electricity, Water, and Renewable Energy, as well as Minister of State for Housing Affairs, emphasized the implementation of the state’s directives to support and incentivize outstanding national talents.
Bushehri has given approval for the initial batch of premium business reward statements for eligible employees of the Ministry of Electricity, Water, and Renewable Energy. These rewards are anticipated to be distributed within the next few days. Additionally, he is collaborating with the Civil Service Bureau to finalize procedures for employees working under the shift system, in preparation for distributing rewards to deserving individuals.
