Government revokes citizenship of 153 people

Decree No. 97 of 2025 has been published in a special supplement of the Al-Kuwait Alyawm official government gazette, listing the names of 151 individuals whose Kuwaiti citizenships have been revoked, along with those who had obtained nationality through affiliation with them.

The same supplement also included Decree No. 98 of 2025, which ordered the revocation of citizenship of two additional individuals, as well as others who acquired nationality through their association, reports Al-Rai daily.
