Government committed to resolving housing files: Premier
His Highness stresses the importance of expediting efforts to recycle used tires

Prime Minister His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Al-Abdullah reiterated the government’s commitment to providing housing care for citizens and confirmed that all pending housing files will be addressed in upcoming meetings.
This came during a meeting at Bayan Palace, attended by Minister of State for Municipal Affairs and Minister of State for Housing Affairs Abdullatif Al-Mishari, where discussions focused on the Public Authority for Housing Welfare’s plans to drive urban development.
The plans include upgrading infrastructure and government services, improving housing care systems, and accelerating the completion of new projects and residential cities to meet the needs of citizens.
The meeting was also attended by the Head of the Prime Minister’s Office, Abdulaziz Dakhil Al-Dakhil, along with senior officials from the Housing Authority.
Meanwhile, His Highness stressed the importance of expediting efforts to recycle used tires and called for the development of new mechanisms for awarding and implementing public cleaning contracts.
At another meeting held at Bayan Palace with Minister Al-Mishari and officials from Kuwait Municipality, the Environment Public Authority, and the Public Authority for Industry, discussions focused on strategies for recycling and reusing damaged tires in ways that protect the environment and generate new revenues for the state.
