Good News for wives of Kuwaitis whose citizenship was revoked
A government source informed the wives of Kuwaiti nationals, as well as divorcees and widows whose nationalities have been revoked under (Article 8), that there will be facilities provided to complete their transactions.
The source told Al-Rai that work is underway to develop a mechanism that facilitates the documentary cycle for this category, particularly concerning passports and civil ID cards. This initiative reflects a humanitarian approach to assist those affected by the revocation of their citizenship.
In response to a question about whether this meant issuing passports and civil cards to them, the source stated, that they have directives to facilitate matters for the affected and address their situations.
The source stressed that these facilities and procedures will only apply to clean files and those without any cases of forgery.
In conclusion the source said, that their condition will get better and better, God willing.
