Global oil prices slide; Kuwaiti crude closes at $62.41

The price of Kuwaiti crude oil declined by $2.41, settling at $62.41 per barrel in Friday’s trading, down from $64.82 per barrel recorded on Wednesday, according to figures released by the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation.

On the international front, oil prices also experienced downward pressure. Brent crude futures dropped by 84 cents to reach $61.29 per barrel, while U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) futures fell by 95 cents, closing at $58.29 per barrel.

The declines reflect broader market concerns over demand forecasts and economic uncertainties affecting global energy markets.
