GKPA team distributes winter clothes to Kabd workers
As part of its annual social service initiatives, the Kuwait Chapter of GKPA (Global Kerala Pravasi Association) distributed winter clothes to workers in the Kabd farm area. The program was organized with the objective of providing relief and warmth to laborers facing harsh winter conditions.
The volunteer team was led by GKPA Global Chairman Mubarack Kambrath. The program was attended by Justin P. Jose, (President of GKPA Kuwait Chapter); Binu Yohannan, (Secretary), Ambili Narayanan, (Women’s Wing Chairperson), and Rasiyath Beevi (Women’s Wing Secretary).
Representing the Central Committee and various area teams, were Ashraf Choorot, Jaleel Kottayam, Girija Omanakuttan, Bindhu Hawally, Menish Vas, Faisal Kambrath, Mujeeb K.T., Assainar, Ullas Udayabhanu, Mathew V. John, Sajeena Kollam, Arshitha Lalitha (Kozhikode), Mini Abbasiya, Naseer (Kochi), Mayyeri Aboobacker, Jiby Abbasiya, Sajini Baiju (Kaithan), in addition to a number of other volunteers.
The support extended by Faisal Kabd at the distribution location was especially noteworthy. Gafoor, Vanaja Rajan and Preethi Thiruvananthapuram coordinated the program remotely.
Organizers reaffirmed their commitment to continue such meaningful humanitarian initiatives in the future, reaching out to the needy in Kuwait as well as in Kerala.
