Speaking on the sidelines of a cinema evening organized by the embassy as part of Europe Month celebrations in Kuwait, Sauer emphasized the importance of cultural exchange in strengthening bilateral ties. He noted that such events serve as a bridge between the peoples of both countries and reflect the growing cooperation not only in diplomacy and trade, but also in the fields of education, arts, and cultural dialogue.
Sauer revealed that the appointment of a new cultural attaché at the German Embassy is expected to significantly enhance cultural engagement between the two nations. He also expressed his aspiration to establish a dedicated German cultural center in Kuwait, which would serve as a platform for furthering mutual understanding and artistic collaboration.
Reflecting on his diplomatic experience in Kuwait, Sauer described the country as one of the safest locations he has worked in throughout his international career.
