The gender ratio in the GCC stands at 169 males for every 100 females, significantly higher than the global average of 101 males per 100 females.
Overall, the GCC population represents roughly 0.7% of the world’s total population.
GCC-Stat, based in the Sultanate of Oman, serves as the official source of statistics and data for the Gulf states, supporting national statistical and planning institutions across the region.
