The Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), Jassim Al-Budaiwi, met with Javier Colomina, Special Representative of the Secretary General of NATO for the Southern Neighborhood, to discuss strengthening cooperation and regional security ties.
The meeting took place on the sidelines of the 62nd Munich Security Conference on Saturday, reports Al-Rai daily.
According to a statement issued by the GCC General Secretariat on Sunday, the discussions focused on enhancing the relationship between the GCC and NATO for Southern Neighborhood countries, as well as exchanging perspectives on matters of shared interest in regional and international affairs.
