Gaza agreement moving toward implementation, ‘it’s a great success’: Trump

US President Donald Trump announced that the “Gaza Agreement” is moving toward implementation, describing the development as “a great success.”

Trump stated that Hamas “has made great strides and wants to finalize the details,” signaling progress in negotiations aimed at ending the conflict in the Gaza Strip.

His remarks followed earlier warnings urging Hamas to move swiftly toward the proposed ceasefire, cautioning that any delay could jeopardize the talks, reports Al-Rai daily.

“I appreciate that Israel temporarily halted the bombing to allow the release of the hostages and the completion of the peace agreement,” Trump said, emphasizing that Hamas must act quickly or face “all possibilities.”

The president stressed his firm stance against any outcome that could allow Gaza to become a renewed source of threat, saying, “I will not accept any delay or any outcome in which Gaza poses a renewed threat. Let’s get this done quickly.”

He concluded by affirming that all parties involved “will be treated fairly” as the peace process advances.
