Future Eye Theatre & Film Club . . . stage play on 14th Feb, Saturday

The acclaimed Malayalam drama “Mayyazhiyppuzhayude Theerangalil” (On the Banks of Mayyazhi River) will be staged in Kuwait on Saturday, 14th February 2026, at 6.30 pm, at Aspire Indian International School, Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh.
Directed by renowned, award-winning theatre director Emil Madhavi, the production is inspired by the celebrated literary work of M. Mukundan and is noted for its poetic narrative, visual beauty, and emotional depth. The novel vividly and mystically describes the historic political and social background of the former French colony of Mahe (Mayyazhi).

This presentation marks the second staging of the drama worldwide and its first-ever staging in Kuwait, making it a rare opportunity for theatre lovers. Organized by Future Eye Theatre & Film Club, Kuwait, the event is expected to draw a large audience, including cultural personalities and dignitaries.
