Fourth Structural Plan (2040), Kuwait Vision 2035 progressing without delays
Kuwait Municipality has reaffirmed that both the Fourth Structural Plan (2040) and Kuwait Vision 2035 are progressing without delays, dismissing recent claims of setbacks as “incorrect.”
A municipal spokesperson clarified that Kuwait Vision 2035 remains a central government initiative aimed at transforming the country into a regional hub for finance, commerce, and culture, attracting significant investment by 2035.
The Fourth Structural Plan, announced by Minister of State for Municipal Affairs Abdul Latif Al-Mishari, fully aligns with this vision and supports it rather than postponing it, the Municipality emphasized.
The spokesperson also noted that the building regulations tied to various development activities are consistent with the framework of the 2040 Plan.
As the primary reference for urban policies in Kuwait, this plan integrates the country’s long-term planning strategies with the goals of relevant government entities, ensuring a cohesive path forward for national development.
