Four sentenced to seven years

The Criminal Court issued a ruling to imprison 4 expatriates for a period of 7 years with hard labor and to fine them 4,200 dinars and deport them from the country after serving the sentence.

They were referred to trial after they were accused of having hacked the Consumer Protection Department’s database and exploited it by stealing the money of citizens and residents. They claimed to be employees of the administration through messages they sent via WhatsApp, reports Al-Anba daily.
