Four senior Interior Ministry officials retire after distinguished service

Three assistant undersecretaries and a director-general at the Ministry of Interior submitted their retirement requests this morning, marking the end of long and distinguished careers in security and field operations. The retirements come after the officials reached the legal term of service.
According to security sources, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef met today with Major-General Yousef Al-Khudda, Undersecretary of the Operations and Traffic Sector; Major-General Abdullah Safah, Undersecretary of the Special Security Sector; Major-General Khaled Al-Shanfa, Head of the State Security Service and Major-General Walid Shehab, Director General of Control and Inspection.
Sheikh Al-Yousef expressed his deep appreciation for their dedicated service, commending their years of commitment to protecting and defending the homeland. He wished them continued success in the next chapter of their lives, reports Al-Rai daily.
The sources added that more senior security officials are expected to retire in the near future as they reach the retirement age.
At the same time, the Ministry of Interior is preparing to release a new organizational structure, which will include filling key vacancies and bringing in new leadership talent.
This is part of a broader effort to enhance and modernize Kuwait’s security capabilities in the coming period.
