Former prosecutor, employee sentenced to one year hard labor

The Misdemeanor Court sentenced the duo to prison for leaking judicial secrets and set a 1,000-dinar bail to suspend the sentence, pending a three-year pledge of good conduct.

The Misdemeanor Court, led by Judge Mohamed Abdel-Jaber and Secretary Saad Al-Ansari, sentenced a former public prosecutor and an employee to one year in prison with hard labor for leaking judicial secrets and information to fake accounts, according to Al Jaridanewspaper.

The court also set a bail of 1,000 dinars to suspend the execution of the sentence, contingent upon the defendants submitting a pledge of good conduct for three years.
