“Foreign Ministry” explores enhanced health cooperation with European countries

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs held an expanded meeting with ambassadors and heads of European diplomatic missions accredited to the country. The meeting was attended by Minister of Health, Dr. Ahmed Al-Awadhi; Minister of Foreign Affairs, Abdullah Al-Yahya; Deputy Foreign Minister, Ambassador Sheikh Jarrah Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, and several senior officials from the ministry.
The Ministry stated today, Wednesday, that the meeting explored opportunities to strengthen joint cooperation between Kuwait and European countries in various aspects of the health sector. Discussions focused on developing the health system and enhancing collaboration to improve healthcare services in Kuwait.
The meeting discussed frameworks for enhancing joint cooperation in all aspects of healthcare, including pharmaceuticals, hospital development, and the exchange of expertise. It also focused on training and qualifying medical and support staff while exploring ways to strengthen collaboration in these areas.
