Food delivery driver shot by unknown assailant

A restaurant food delivery driver has been admitted to the intensive care at Jahra Hospital in critical condition, after he was shot in Subbiya by a shotgun by unknown assailants.

Security sources told Al-Rai that “the competent authorities received a report from Al-Jahra Hospital about the arrival of an expatriate of Asian nationality in a critical condition with gunshot wound.”

The sources added, “It turned out that the injured person works as a delivery driver for one of the restaurants in Al-Jahra Governorate, and when he was heading to one of the camps, he was surprised by gunshots.

The detectives are investigating the incident, determine the identity of the shooter, find out the reasons that led to committing the crime, and listen to the victim’s statements when his health condition permits.
