Firefighters contain blaze at Shuwaikh warehouse
Firefighting teams from the Shuwaikh Industrial, Shahid, and Support Centers successfully contained a fire that broke out yesterday afternoon at a warehouse in the Shuwaikh Industrial Area.
According to a statement issued by the Kuwait Fire Force, the facility was used to store large quantities of wood and thermal insulation materials — both highly flammable — posing a serious risk of rapid fire spread, reports Al-Anba daily.
The fire was brought under control in record time without any injuries or damage to surrounding area.
The KFF has initiated an investigation to determine the cause of the incident. The authority also renewed its call for strict compliance with fire safety regulations, particularly in industrial zones where flammable materials are stored, to prevent similar incidents in the future.
