A fire broke out this morning in four vehicles parked in a dirt lot in the Mahboula area, spreading from nearby waste. According to Al Jarida newspaper, the fire caused no injuries and resulted in only material losses.
According to the details, the Public Relations and Media Department of the Kuwait Fire Force said in a statement that the Operations Department received a report of a fire breaking out in waste in the Mahboula area, prompting the Mangaf Fire Station to respond to the location.
The department added that firefighters found the fire had started in waste in a dirt lot and spread to several vehicles parked there. They began fighting and controlling the fire, preventing it from reaching other vehicles.
In another statement, the department said that the Operations Department received a report this morning about a fire breaking out in a landfill in the Bar Al-Salmi area, prompting the Al-Salmi, Al-Jahra Crafts, Al-Tahrir, and Al-Isnad fire stations to respond to the site.
They added that firefighters discovered the landfill belongs to the Kuwait Municipality and immediately began fighting and controlling the fire, with no injuries reported.
