Fire destroys sponge factory

Acting on information, the Sabhan and Al-Bairaq fire brigades controlled a fire in a sponge factory in the Sabhan area.

As a precautionary measure, the workers were evacuated from the factory and the fire was fought, controlled and extinguished.

The incident did not result in any significant injuries.
