Fire damages ‘Egaila C’, power outage in several areas
Today morning, firefighting teams from Al-Mangaf and Al-Bairaq centers responded to a fire in a power transformer in the suburb of Egaila.
The blaze injured two individuals, who were promptly handed over to emergency medical services for treatment.
The Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy in a statement said ‘Egaila C’ has been shut down leading to a power outage in parts of Egaila. Emergency teams are currently on-site working to restore power as quickly as possible.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the fire.
