Fake plastic surgeon in police custody; caught running illegal cosmetic clinic
Unlicensed beauty network busted; six rogue clinics shut down; pharmacist and salon owner among those nabbed during crackdown

Personnel from the General Department of Criminal Investigation have arrested an Egyptian fake surgeon, identified only as (A.A.A.A.), for performing unlicensed cosmetic procedures in a women’s parlor which was illegally converted into a cosmetic clinic in Sabah Al-Salem.
According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Interior, security forces raided the premises and caught the suspect in the act.
During interrogation, he admitted to injecting clients with cosmetic fillers for up to 50 dinars, despite not holding a valid medical license.
During the raid, the authorities also seized unlicensed medical equipment, cosmetic supplies, injection materials, and a laser device intended for clinical use.
Three female employees — one Kenyan and two Egyptian — were also caught offering unauthorized medical and beauty services.
Investigations identified the salon’s owner as (S.H.M.S.), a Kuwaiti citizen (holding citizenship under Article 8), who confessed to running a network of six salons and women’s health centers operating unlicensed cosmetic clinics.
She admitted her employees practiced medicine without supervision and disclosed the existence of an Egyptian partner currently outside Kuwait.
In other news, the authorities arrested another Egyptian, identified as (B.S.M.B.), working as pharmacist at Sabah Al-Salem North Center, for supplying the illegal clinics with vital cosmetic products and medications without proper licenses.
Investigators revealed that he funneled the materials through a fraudulently registered company under his name, violating laws regulating medical professions.
Legal actions are currently underway, and the Ministry of Interior affirmed its commitment to combatting all forms of unlicensed medical practices and protecting public health.
