FAIPS LKG Annual Day 2025: A joyful celebration of friendship and creativity

The Fahaheel Al-Watanieh Indian Private School (FAIPS) celebrated the LKG students Annual Day under the theme, “Friendship: The Greatest Sweetener of FAIPS KG.” The event was a tribute to the bonds of sharing, mutual support, and joy that define the early years of learning.

The program began with a traditional opening, featuring the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by the Kuwait National Anthem and the ceremonial lighting of the lamp.

The occasion was graced by a distinguished gathering of guests. Principal Ravi Ayanoli welcomed the Chief Guest, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Lesotho to Kuwait H.E. Manthabiseng Phohleli and the Guest of Honor, Dr. Mohammad Umar Tak, renowned Pediatric Specialist at KOC Hospital.

Also in attendance was Ms. Bushra Al-Abd Al-Hussein, Foreign Education Supervisor from the Ministry of Education.

In his address, the school Principal highlighted the critical role of FAIPS’s foundational education in instilling core values such as discipline, friendship, and mutual support.

The stage then came alive with the children’s exuberance and creativity. Performances began with the beloved “You’ve Got a Friend in Me,” instantly spreading joy throughout the auditorium. Other highlights included the mechanically precise “Robo Boogie” troupe, a high-energy lyrical mash-up of Bollywood and Hollywood hits, and the inspiring “Learning to Fly” segment, which showcased the courage and encouragement that friendship inspires.

A rhythmic dance celebrating joy and coordination enthralled the audience, followed by the globally inspired “Cherry Blossoms” performance, where students danced gracefully to a Japanese composition about friendship, even singing parts of it in Japanese.

The grand finale celebrated cultural diversity, featuring a multilingual showcase that earned a standing ovation. One student performed the emotional Hindi song “Jeevan ke din,” while another presented the classic Tamil song “Morraka,” highlighting FAIPS’s commitment to global awareness and inclusivity.

In their addresses, the guests reinforced the theme of the day. Ambassador Phohleli praised the school management and teachers for supporting students’ holistic development, while Dr. Tak likened the young children to seeds, emphasizing the importance of nurturing them at the right time for their growth and potential.

The event concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks by Headmistress Mrs. Bharti Tiwari, expressing gratitude to parents, teachers, students, and guests for their support.

FAIPS LKG Annual Day 2025 was celebrated not merely as a performance but as a joyful, meaningful expression of collaboration, kindness, and respect. The event left attendees with lasting memories, reinforcing the enduring belief that friendship truly is the sweetest and most essential part of life.
