Fahaheel intersection to close starting Sunday until July 2

The General Traffic Department has announced a temporary closure of the Fahaheel Intersection as part of ongoing roadworks and infrastructure improvements.

Starting at dawn on Sunday, June 23, the Al-Rai daily said, the following routes will be closed to traffic:

• Fahaheel Roundabout (on Road 212) in the direction of Sabahiya
• The exit leading to King Abdulaziz Road (Fahaheel Road 30) toward Kuwait City
• The closure will remain in effect until Tuesday, July 2, 2024.

The department has urged motorists to use alternative routes during this period and to follow all traffic signs and instructions to ensure smooth traffic flow and public safety.

It also called on drivers to plan their journeys accordingly to avoid delays.
