Fahaheel expressway towards Ahmadi reopens following maintenance completion

The General Department of Security Relations and Media at the Ministry of Interior has announced the full reopening of the Fahaheel Expressway towards Ahmadi, following the completion of major maintenance work. The road is now open to traffic starting today, Tuesday, February 18, 2025.

The Ministry of Interior expressed its appreciation for the cooperation of vehicle drivers with the Ministry of Public Works during the maintenance period. It noted that this collaboration played a key role in expediting the completion of major road maintenance projects and ensuring smoother traffic flow on roads impacted by the work.

Furthermore, the Ministry emphasized the importance of staying updated on notifications issued through the “Sahel” application and other official channels. It urged the public to follow the instructions of relevant authorities to ensure safety and facilitate the smooth flow of traffic.
