Expat commits suicide

An unidentified expatriate man in his forties reportedly committed suicide by hanging himself from a staircase inside a building in Hawalli, Block 1.

After the operations room of the Ministry of Interior received a distress call from the building guard, emergency responders, including police and ambulance patrols, rushed to the scene and found the man hanging with one end of the rope tied around his neck and another end to the staircase railing, reports Al-Anba daily.

CID men are investigating to find out if there is foul play or motives behind the incident. The body has been referred to the forensic department.
