‘Exorcist’, accomplice seized from Mahboula apartment

The Ministry of Interior announced the arrest of a Kuwaiti citizen accused of defrauding clients by falsely claiming he could cure illnesses, treat infertility, reunite separated couples, and remove spells in exchange for money.
According to the ministry, investigations revealed that the suspect was conducting these fraudulent activities inside a rented apartment in the Mahboula area, which he disguised as a family residence, reports Al-Rai daily.
The accused reported claimed he could exorcise jinn, break spells, and cure various diseases. He also sold products as part of the scheme.
The authorities added that the suspect was caught misusing an outdated social consulting license and was working in collaboration with a Bangladeshi man, who acted as his driver and facilitated bringing in clients and delivering products, mainly targeting the unsuspecting Asians.
Both suspects, along with the seized items, were referred to the competent authorities for legal action.
